Cause I've been looking at things and I can't find anything to beat this car for the price.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
So guys help me.
I've looked at M cars, Vettes, Supra's, RX-7's, Audis, Newer Coyote Mustang's, and others.
Anyone have find me something as good as this GT500?

I'm thinking... but I've got nothing. Sounds like a good plan to me.
EDIT: Found this: http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-20… .
But no manual. :-/

Why not get a newer-used mustang? 2011+.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:31 |
|
How about one of these!
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:32 |

I've been looking but I can't find the right one really. like I want one with the Breambo brake option and recaros or one where I can put them in it.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:32 |
|
Na too rounded.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:34 |

I drove one wasnt too big of a fan. While it was nice when I have friends with me they have no room.

squared off is an option but it comes with two more doors lol:
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:36 |

Eh challengers are too slow. IMO, my dad has a 2011 Coyote and I eat those on the road
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:38 |
|
I have to guess that with this, you're just looking at power, not refinement
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:39 |
|
Still they arnt the best thingsout there for the money people ask for them.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:40 |
|
Hmm, how about one of these:
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:40 |
|
Well I've looked at a handful of cars that can handle and I can't find ones I quite like for the price of this.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:41 |
|
Honestly didn't bother with them because of recalls and I'm not a huge GM fan. but I'll have to look into them. They just have weird smelling interiors,
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:42 |
|
hmm, well how about one of these:
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:44 |

R32 SKYLINE GTS
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:46 |
|
That's because the coyote mustangs are FAST. It will probably hang with that gt500.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:52 |
|
Define "beat" … because you'd be hard pressed to beat this interior and these looks for the price.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 13:55 |
|
Not quite as fast, but way more style. With a Carmax warranty (after all, it is a Jag) you'd probably be around the territory of that Mustang.

That is very nice but sadly too far away
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:01 |

Ya but the GT500 just has that look that doesnt look like its other siblings
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:01 |

Where in teh hell can I find one.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:03 |
|
Something from the European market...V8 Power.
http://www.carmax.com/enus/view-car/…
Won't be as fast as your mustang but they're still plenty fast

Changed the range to my area.....none
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:07 |

in all honesty on this whole thread, what started it seems like the best fit. It's quite a few miles on a Supercharged car though...

![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:32 |
|
Sounds like you've already made your decision! Get it NOW!
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:33 |
|
Ok All I need to do is get my 2 cars sold and I can afford it.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:38 |
|
Well not that particular one, but 35i's have dropped to around $30k. I think they would be worth a look.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:39 |

shorty JBA headers, stock cat converter, Kooks mid pipe and mufflers, Steeda upper and lower control arms - upper is adjustable, dyno tuned by Realspeed. Made 402 rwhp on a Mustang dyno. Translates to about 420-430 on a dynojet. Supercharger is a Whipple non intercooled setup with a rather large pulley so there's room for growth.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:39 |
|
I agree...Not the riceiest of rice burners but they do tend to have that slight following. Still a fast car for the money. Just trying to throw out a few other options to the muscle car suggestions people are giving.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:42 |
|
True i get ya, but those are all too much money sadly
![]() 08/07/2014 at 14:43 |

Haven't made it back to Busch yet this season, but got to see the Springfield team play the Drillers here in Tulsa.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 15:06 |
|
Yea, I know. Tank status. 4100 lbs no bueno.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 15:23 |
|
Muscle car? Yes. Sports car? Nope.
Not that my car is any lightweight, either...
![]() 08/07/2014 at 15:25 |
|
~3500 isn't too bad compared to today's standards.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 15:30 |
|
The one I picked up is pretty loaded... MT weighed it at 3650.

Got my test pipes on and BPM Stage II applied - the beast is even beastier! Need to do a write-up for OPPO.

Nice! I can't wait to hear it too!
Yea, our E90 was the same way. Nav/EDC/rear sunshade/heated seats. Still better than 4100 :-p
![]() 08/07/2014 at 15:34 |
|
Nice!
![]() 08/07/2014 at 15:42 |
|
LOL at rear sunshade - same here. Even Comfort Access (which has totally spoiled me, I'm afraid).
![]() 08/07/2014 at 15:44 |
|
Lol oh yea, we had that too. Phenomenal feature. We are still spoiled, our CX-5 has the same thing. I often find myself trying to put the M3 key into the CX-5 steering column. Hint-it doesn't work.

SRT8 Challenger : E90 M3 as E90 M3 : Audi TT

Have you ever driven the older GT500, or any GT500? Definitely not a sports car and the handling is poo. I would suggest a 2007+ Nissan Z car, 350 or 370, with the Sport package. That will get you the bigger brakes and a limited slip diff. The Infiniti G37s Coupe with a manual also has stellar brakes, the same platform, but more weight. It's more comfortable and the back seats are surprisingly usable.
The GT500 is cool with the blower and all, but it's just awful to drive. Your money is better spent elsewhere. Check out Carmax for the Z or G since they will transfer pretty cheap
![]() 08/07/2014 at 16:09 |
|
I would rather not get rice, also GT500 is the top run on the Mustang ladder and considering things I would forgo handling for the power of the GT500 any day. the Z and the G owners in my area are ricers and are about the swag yolo life and I don't want to be associated with them
![]() 08/07/2014 at 17:14 |
|
Really dude? You would forgo one of the best modern sports cars because some tools buy the older cheap ones and beat them up? What about all of the riced out Mustangs? Come on dude, recognize a good car when you see one. I'm not a fan boy of any nation of origin, but I appreciate a good car when I drive it.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 18:07 |
|
the Z has never been a good car or the G, I've driven a G and hated it. There are riced out stangs but they are VERY few and far between.
![]() 08/07/2014 at 19:15 |
|
riced out Mustangs are super common. To say otherwise is foolish. You might not like the FM chassis cars, but they are very good sports cars, especially the 07-08 350Z. You have clearly made up your mind anyway. Be the guy that makes rifts in the car enthusiast culture.
